Second Life is a collaborative project by the Rotterdam-based illustrator and visual designer Anna Bonomi and the Amsterdam-based contemporary jazz pianist and composer Igor Ambrosin. Through an interdisciplinary 40-minute performance combining live music and visual storytelling, the project explores the tension between the excitement of living a hidden second life and the fragility it entails. Blending drawing, composition, and improvisation, Second Life reflects on identity, secrecy, and the delicate boundary between truth and fiction, inviting the audience to question how personal narratives are shaped, concealed, and revealed. The project will be premiered in Rotterdam in 2026.
