Igor Ambrosin Trio is an international, Netherlands-based group that brings the listener’s attention to the many facets of rhythm, form, and their layered complexity within groove-based music.
Through a personal use of polyrhythmic textures and unconventional structures, the illusion of chaos and the perception of order intertwine in this process implemented by the noise and sample-based live electronics.
This dynamic approach allows the band to go in and out of purely acoustic sound, investigating new directions within contemporary improvised music rooted in jazz.
Finalists for the Dutch Keep an Eye The Records 2026, the band will release their debut album in early 2027.
